Now onwards to the good stuff:
Your Perfect Wedding Photographer – Vibrant Moments Collection (x2)
Thinking ‘vibrant wedding’, then Sarah and Chris’ Mexican-inspired fiesta will take some beating! This is one of many fun, colourful frames we could have chosen. But we love this great moment shared between these BFF’s.
Sneaking away with us for ten mins on your wedding day is highly recommended. Caroline and Simon had fun exploring the allotment at Northcote. Bright seasonal flowers will always add a pop of colour when daring to shoot from really low.
Your Perfect Wedding Photographer – Kids at Weddings Collection
An all-action documentary photo should tell a great tale. Clearly ‘shoes on’ time had arrived at Didsbury House for Sarah’s bridesmaids and flower girls. Love all the different elements happening spontaneously. Wonder who was on the phone?
Your Perfect Wedding Photographer – Speech Moments Collection (x2)
Speech photos are usually all about the reactions. No pressure best men. But a good one like Lucy and Mike’s, will have everyone in stitches. You have to make your own luck, by anticipating the moment and being in the right place to capture these big laughs.
A fun, fleeting moment leading to the father of the bride speech at a Beeston Manor wedding. Only teasing stage fright, of course, Claire’s pops dropped a beautie.
Your Perfect Wedding Photographer – Couple Moments Collection (x2)
Chrissie and Ryan casually enjoying a beer and sharing a joke as guests find their seats. This is not your average wedding photo. That’s why we love it! Edgy, raw, real and super cool.
It can be tempting to shoot straight on, Abbey Road-stlye, whenever there is a zebra crossing situation. But it was the perspective and rare clear promenade that made this scene extra special. Jade and Rick featuring in their own awesome could-be album cover photo.
Your Perfect Wedding Photographer – Best of 2022 Collection
We had a blast with Chrissie and Ryan and their gang. So many epic party scenes, but we always loved this mega happy moment shared with them. Chuffed they loved them too: “Brilliant photos! Can’t thank you enough Zo and Liam for making our day so special!! x”
This Is Reportage Award – Collection 30
Can we have three cheers please, for our third TiR Award?! (Hip-hip…) So FAN-bloomin-tastic that we have a special blog post, giving you the full low down on this shot. But we think bride Charlotte sums it up nicely: “Fantastic news! Well done Zo and Liam very well deserved. Our pictures are sickkkkkkkk!! Xxx”
Double win! This photo was also featured in the Fearless Photographers 2022 digital book #5!!
Fearless Photographers – 2022 Favourites (x6)
If Tarantino did wedding photography, you can guarantee bare feet would feature. We love a Tarantino flick, so chuffed Dan made it into the Fearless digital photo book#3. Our barefoot bride, looking amazing and chilling in the sun. (Random fun fact: Uma Thurman’s character in Kill Bill was only known as ‘The Bride’).
Lots of legs busting moves on the dancefloor. All different, yet one guest stands out immediately, not letting an undisclosed Hen Do injury hold them back! An inspiration to us all. Broken bones won’t stop the party in photo book #4.
That just married and freshly hugged out feeling with Lucy and Mike. Drinks clearly required here as weddings can be thirsty work. Love that this fun moment between this awesome couple, also features in book #4.
Street-style portraits are great because anything can happen. We had this idea for a couple shot on Blackpool Promenade, but you can never really plan for the cool real elements that make a scene unique. The timing was brilliant, so happy to find this photo in book #6.
Pure joy in a frame. Flower girls race to congratulate their Mum. Most satisfying when you ‘magically’ find yourself in the right position to capture these moments. Fearless digital photo book #7 you made our day!
