The Class Of 2016

It’s big blog time! After a whirlwind festive break and a chance to catch up with as many family and friends as physically possible, we are officially back in the blogging game for 2017. Whist we are looking forward to the party times ahead, the New Year gives us a chance to look back at our best wedding photography and the awesome Class of 2016. We have met some amazing people along the way, working at some fabulous wedding venues and alongside some very talented suppliers.

Also we would like to take this opportunity to again thank all of our couples for inviting us along for the ride. Because it really has been a huge pleasure. We love this crazy biz and your kind words, gifts and messages have been truly inspiring. You guys rock!

BEST WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY LANCASHIRE

It is no secret that 2016 brought a whole new level of award success for us. We put our hearts and souls in to our work, never stop learning, experimenting, and keep pushing boundaries. So, genuine industry recognition is always amazing.

Highlights include two coveted Masters of UK Wedding Photography Awards. It was especially cool to have won an award in both rounds so far.

It has also been a marvellous pleasure for ZT HQ to take home the British Institute of Professional Photography (BIPP) North West Region Creative Wedding Photography Gold, Creative Portraiture Gold and the Judges Choice Social Award. Three actual trophies that we have frankly loved to proudly show off to our guests all year.

NEW LEVEL-UP WITH ZT WORKSHOPS

One of our goals was to kick off our portfolio-building workshops in 2016. What a great day it was too. Such good fun with an awesome group of photographers. We think Colonel John ‘Hannibal’ Smith said it best, “I love it when a plan comes together!” We will hopefully start plotting some exciting new ideas for more sessions in the future too.

BEHIND THE SCENES

We now have a dedicated home-office and meeting space. Clients are welcome to visit us for meet ups – we’ll get the kettle on and have the biscuits out.

There has been a lot of website development too. Please do have a good gander at the fab new look site. Still even more updates to come soon.

Finally, we know that our adventures keep us busy for lots of late nights and weekends. So a huge thank you to our family and friends for your continued support and understanding. (We know we missed some great parties!)
