Oddfellows – Loreen + Glynn’s Rock Star Wedding

We loved hearing about Loreen and Glynn’s amazing wedding day plans. We also knew the massive music fans had a seriously special treat in store for their family and friends. The sun was shining when we arrived at Oddfellows, Chester and stepped in to the boutique hotel’s eccentric wonderland hidden inside.

Whilst Glynn tracked down his best men, the busy bridal party room was buzzing with excitement.  Loreen looked stunning in her Erica Stacey dress and intricate Eleventh Heaven headpiece; and the lads all looked awesome in their matching rock-star Pretty Green suits and paisley scarves.

BLINDED BY THE SUN – ROCK STAR WEDDING

For many, a highlight will have been the surprise performance during the ceremony from The Seahorses former frontman, now solo-artist Chris Helme.  Since it’s not every day that a singer with a platinum selling credentials who has toured with The Rolling Stones and Oasis rocks the wedding. A genuinely nice guy, Chris still sounds as good as he did in 1997.  Most of all a spectacular acoustic rendition of Blinded By The Sun was a rather emotional moment.

We had such an amazing day and it was fab to see Wedding Jam in action again to get the evening party rocking.  There was fun, laughter and also lots of dancing.  But with a set list packed full of Madchester classics, just don’t ask us our favourite song, the list goes on and on…
