Singleton Lodge – Festive Fun and Ceilidh Wedding

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas out there. But today is also the festive first wedding anniversary for Abi and Ben! So massive congrats guys! Their awesome winter wedding was at the award-winning Singleton Lodge Country House Hotel in Lancashire. One of our fave local wedding venues and they ‘sleighed’ it!

SINGLETON LODGE COUNTRY HOUSE HOTEL WEDDING

We first met Abi and Ben at an Autumn Singleton Lodge Open Day. After chatting about our approach to wedding photography, our relaxed, creative documentary style was just what they were looking for! Leading up to the big day we loved reading Ben’s emails. While we were busy editing, the Head of Outdoor Pursuits was either ‘out driving speedboats’ or ‘running expeditions in Morocco’! Amazing!

COSY FIRES AND FRIENDLY ALPACAS

It was a perfect bright and crisp December wedding day. There’s always a warm welcome at Singleton Lodge too. Even the friendly alpacas were keen to say hello! Family and friends could get cosy by the fire or brave the chills for a razz on the swing.

FESTIVE CEILIDH WEDDING DANCING GOOD TIMES!

Evening guests enjoyed much fun in The Mighty Boof retro photobooth. Then everyone got involved in the epic festive ceilidh wedding dance, led by the fab folk/funk band Price of My Pig. Baby, it might be cold outside, but a dance floor full of wild dancing and great music is one way to pump up the heat at your wedding!

So here’s a few words from the happy couple:
