Samlesbury Hall – A Peacock Vintage Wedding

It’s the last blog of the year! More from 2015, plus our ‘Best Of’ will be coming soon. But first, it is Cassie and Alex’s vintage peacock themed wedding. Cassie and Alex first got in touch after seeing our online portfolio. They were super excited to chat about their wedding plans and keen to embrace our creative freedom on the big day. Which is always music to our ears!

VINTAGE PEACOCK THEMED WEDDING

After a fun and blustery Me and You Shoot at the seaside, their wedding took place at Samlesbury Hall. A wonderful half-timbered medieval house in Lancashire. This historic Hall and its grounds are apparently one of the most haunted locations in Britain. Fortunately for us though, the big day was a spook-free affair. Instead decorated and uniquely styled with peacock influences by our buddies Beautifully Vintage.

RETRO VINTAGE WEDDING STYLE

Cassie looked stunning in her perfectly detailed dress and vintage-inspired hairstyle (hair colour envy!) alongside her bridesmaids. All rocking swing dresses with petticoats. The whole day was full of laughter with close family and friends. Guests could relax and enjoy the sunshine. Then the evening party time started with jukebox sounds and The Mighty Boof!
