It’s time for Jacqui and Gordon’s Bartle Hall Vespa wedding! You’ve just got to love a day full of laughs, music and good times. When we first met, they told us they were excited by our documentary style and totally into our black and whites. So we’re here to show you a post chock full of mono with just a splash of colour.
BARTLE HALL WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
On the morning of the big day, Jacqui and the bridal party arrived at the impressive country hotel in a whirlwind of excitement to get ready. Gordon and his groomsmen all wore full Highland dress with a Glaswegian tartan. An easy choice for the proud Rangers fan.
Jacqui and Gordon share a real love of live music. They had some special treats in store for their family and friends. The Capricorn Singers, a female voice choir, provided the pitch-perfect accompaniment for the ceremonial proceedings; and everyone was particularly excited about the evening’s entertainment with in demand party band, The Deadbeats. An amazing live rendition of Paul Weller’s ‘You Do Something To Me’ for the first dance was an unforgettable highlight.
Guests enjoyed beautiful weather in the Lancashire countryside setting – playing garden games, drinking and laughing in the sunshine. Wedding favours included mini bottles of Irn-Bru, a wee drop of Scottish fizz for the occasion – also known for its miracle hangover cure powers, which may have come in handy for some the next morning (you know who you are!). The Mighty Boof! photobooth went down a storm too as the evening guests arrived, all ready to dance their socks off.
GOT TO LOVE A CLASSIC VESPA WEDDING RIDE
Gordon had been working hard on his classic Vespa scooter for some time to make sure it was fully restored back to its former glory in time for the big day. An impromptu celebratory razz around the hotel grounds in the afternoon had guests in stitches…because riding a scooter wearing a kilt, whilst skillfully maintaining an air of mystique is actually a very impressive feat!
A few words from The Mollins’:
“Right from the start we were impressed by the enthusiasm of Zo and Liam about our wedding. Their ideas and documentary-style photography really appealed to us. Their communication with us was superb, making sure the little details were not forgotten. On the day of the wedding we were put at ease by them and we actually enjoyed having our photos taken! x”
So hold on tight, we hope you enjoy a selection of our favourite photographs.
